What you’ll do
- Interpret between Mandarin and English/Hindi on supplier calls, video meetings and visits.
- Translate technical documents — specifications, purchase orders, manuals and quality reports.
- Follow up with suppliers on samples, orders, lead times and shipments.
- Coordinate remote technical support from overseas equipment vendors with our engineers.
- Keep clear records of supplier communication and agreed actions.
- Support commercial discussions and the resolution of supplier quality issues.
- Travel to China for supplier visits and trade fairs when needed.
What you’ll bring
- A degree in Chinese language or equivalent proficiency (HSK 4 or higher).
- 2–5 years as an interpreter, translator or sourcing liaison, ideally in manufacturing.
- Comfort with technical and commercial vocabulary in both languages.
- Fluent English and good MS Office and email skills.
- Willingness to travel internationally.
Nice to have
- Experience in an industrial machinery or electronics accessories supply chain.
- Familiarity with import documentation.
