Recruitment fraud notice

Last updated October 12, 2026

SB eCommerce never asks candidates for money — not for registration, application, interviews, training, uniforms, equipment, security deposits, visas or anything else, at any stage of recruitment.

We are aware that people sometimes pose as employers to take money or personal information from job seekers. If someone contacts you claiming to recruit for SB eCommerce Solutions Private Limited and anything below doesn’t match, treat it as fraud.

How we recruit

  • Our vacancies are listed on our careers page and on established job portals.
  • Recruitment emails from us come only from addresses ending in @sbecom.in; we may also contact you through the job portal you applied on. We do not recruit from free email services such as Gmail, Yahoo or Outlook.com.
  • Every hire goes through interviews with our team. We do not make offers on the basis of a chat message or a single phone call.
  • Offers are issued as a formal letter on SB eCommerce Solutions Private Limited letterhead, referencing our CIN (U30000HR2011PTC044051), and are sent from an @sbecom.in address.
  • We will never ask for your bank login, card details, OTPs or passwords.

Warning signs

  • a request for any payment, deposit or “refundable” fee;
  • an offer of employment without an interview, or a salary that seems too good to be true;
  • pressure to decide or pay quickly;
  • requests to move the conversation to a personal messaging app or a non-@sbecom.in email address.

If you are approached

  1. Do not send money or personal documents.
  2. Check with us first: email hr@sbecom.in with the details of the message you received.
  3. If you have lost money, report it immediately to your bank and to India’s National Cyber Crime Helpline on 1930 or at cybercrime.gov.in — or to your local police if you are outside India.

SB eCommerce Solutions Private Limited is not responsible for any loss suffered by anyone dealing with people who falsely claim to represent us.
