What you’ll do
- Install, configure and maintain Windows desktops and laptops, peripherals, and office and label printers.
- Provide first-line helpdesk support on-site and remotely; log, prioritize and resolve tickets.
- Troubleshoot LAN and Wi-Fi connectivity, switches, cabling, DHCP/DNS and internet uptime.
- Set up user accounts, email (Microsoft 365 / Outlook) and access permissions for joiners and leavers.
- Maintain the IT asset register, software licenses and warranty/AMC records; coordinate repairs with vendors.
- Support shop-floor workstations, CCTV and biometric attendance devices.
- Run routine backups, antivirus and patch updates, and keep good security hygiene.
What you’ll bring
- A diploma or degree in IT, Computer Science or Electronics — or equivalent hands-on experience.
- 1–3 years in desktop support or hardware and networking.
- Hands-on Windows 10/11 installation, drivers, and MS Office / Outlook configuration.
- Working knowledge of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, routers, switches and network printers.
- Basic Microsoft 365 / Active Directory administration.
- Clear communication and patience with non-technical colleagues.
Nice to have
- CCNA, CompTIA A+ or a Microsoft certification.
- Experience with a ticketing tool, Windows Server, or CCTV and biometric systems.
