What you’ll do
- Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance on industrial printing and finishing equipment.
- Diagnose faults using machine logs, error codes and test output; restore production quickly and record root causes.
- Calibrate and align equipment to keep output within quality standards.
- Plan maintenance schedules, keep maintenance logs and manage critical spares to minimize downtime.
- Install and commission new equipment and apply firmware and software updates with OEM and overseas vendor engineers.
- Train operators in daily machine care, safe operation and first-level troubleshooting.
- Give production planning accurate equipment-availability inputs and follow EHS practices.
What you’ll bring
- A diploma or B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics or Mechanical engineering.
- 3–6 years servicing industrial printing or finishing equipment, at an OEM or in-house.
- Strong electro-mechanical troubleshooting — sensors, motors and drives, PCBs, pneumatics — and the ability to read schematics.
- Comfort with PCs, print workstation software and basic networking.
- Flexibility to support production shifts on-site.
Nice to have
- Color management basics or an OEM field-service background.
- Confidence working from English technical manuals and on calls with overseas vendors.
